I am loving my kids right now. We had a pretty good weekend, just busy with life stuff, but satisfying. On Saturday the kids and I went to my parents in the morning and Mom and I took the girls to see Dr. Tara S at the chiropractic office that she and her husband own in the south. She and I used to work together at the office. She is a part of the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association and she has done wonders with A (and R when he was a baby, he now sees the same chiro that we do at the office I used to work at. He loves getting adjustments and plays "Doctah Foh-ster" all the time). A was looking to the right only and had her head craned really far back when she was trying to hold up her head. She is still not perfect, but is well on her way. We think she had her chin up, brow forward when she was born, so she would've had some interference in her neck. K has no problems, of course. She was free floating in the womb and had the way through the birth canal cleared for her when she was born! :)
I also got together with my Norwex lady and talked with her about becoming a consultant on Saturday. I am loving all the products that I have and need so much stuff from them that I figure getting 35% off of everything is worth having to put in a $250 order every 3 months! I also have to get a Tupperware order off this week in order to stay active. Fun, fun! It seems like everything has fallen by the wayside since the girls were born, but I think it is just that the kids are so much more important that I have forgotten the not so important stuff. Fortunately Tupperware has some GREAT sales going on right now - 40-50% off their new Vent N Serve containers, Modular Mate Sets, some Stuffable containers, toys and organization sets. Hey, if any of you need anything, just let me know.
Yesterday I actually sat through the entire service at church in the auditorium! I nursed A during it, but still! It was good to get there and catch up a bit with people and have a social outlet. It was good for my extroverted self to go.
Well, gotta go... the girls will need to eat soon, it's been over 4 hours. My luck they will both want to eat at the same time!

Dreaming in Technicolor Tupperware
Over the past 3 weeks when I have had quite a bit of Tupperware parties and orders to put in I have been dreaming about Tupperware. It is nothing new to me, whenever I work late into the evening or am focussed on a job, then I will dream about it all night and on numerous occasions I remember waking up and thinking "You are no longer working, give yourself a break and stop thinking about it!"
This week I got 22 boxes of Tupperware from 3 different parties I had. Needless to say, there were Tupperware dreans this week.
With being pregnant, I have been having some sleepless hours during the night, so oftentimes these hours are thinking about Tupperware as well.
I seriously need a break!

The Week from Hell
This last week has seemed a little like the week from hell. Sorry to you out there who do not like the language, but it has really. I had three parties last week and they went well, I put in some good orders, so that is really nice. Keeping house and a two year old make things a little difficult, but I can handle that.
What I had a hard time with is R got another ear infection last week Wednesday - I got him to the doctor's on Thursday and discovered that that was what he had. Thursday night was not good - I think I had a total of 3 hours of sleep, which I know I am in for sleepless nights with the new baby, just wasn't prepared for it yet! Friday night was rough - DH finally brought him into our bed and he slept there from 6-10 a.m. Just so you know, he has never slept in our bed. I cannot sleep with him in there too, when he was young I was afraid of rolling over onto him, but now he is just such a mover in his sleep that he drives me nuts and as soon as he is out, I transfer him back to his crib. Saturday night he slept good and Sunday I started to feel like I was coming down with something. Sunday night was rotten, I was up for 2 hours in the middle of the night with him - every time I tried to leave he would cry like his heart was breaking and start talking about mommy leaving and how I shut the door (which is the only way he can sleep). It was so sad. Meanwhile I feel terrible, like something the cat drug in.
Last night we finally slept through the night, though I was up from 5:30-6:30 because I didn't feel great. Today I told DH I feel like poop - which made him laugh, but I told him it was better than swearing (I am trying to stop doing that - not that I am really bad, it just slips out sometimes and my parents raised me to be a lady and I have been a little slack in that regards). Anyways... R went over to our neighbour's this morning and I did a quick errand and felt like fainting the entire time, so I took a quick nap when I got home, then went to get R. He is being a little trying and I have no patience as I am not feeling good. It is not a pretty combination. Timeouts are more frequent than normal and I hate that.
So I think the bottom line here is if you think to, please pray for our family. That we will get healthy and back on track. Hope all your weeks are going better! :)

Snowy Day
We had a very snowy day today - and I had a Tupperware party in the exact opposite end of the city from Tuscany - the roads were awful and people either overdrive the conditions or drive so carefully they are a hazard. I made it though! And it was a good party and we still haven't closed it. My host is a Pampered Chef consultant so she was very aware of my time and such. And she put out some good food! It was a very tiring day though, between the party, the driving that was stressful and we also did an IKEA trip in the morning. It was good to get some of the items we'd been wanting to get for awhile though. All in all today felt like a productive day.

My week
This last week has been a busy one. Between doing all the things I needed to do to get ready for working at the Home Show in the Tupperware booth that our team and two others had, making sure that supper was on at the end of the day, planning a kitchen out for a friend, having kids over to babysit two different mornings, having Mom's group at our house, celebrating a birthday with my friend, getting my haircut, going to the bank to set up an investing account, and book club on Saturday night, I barely got a breather in. (After writing all that, I now know why I was so insanely tired out by the time Saturday afternoon came! :) Oh, and on top of everything my body is growing a baby, which they say is the equivalent of training for a marathon everyday. Whoooo! I'm tired just thinking about it! It wasn't bad in the midst of things, but I was a little stressed by Thursday, so tried to take it a little easier the last few days.
This week is a little calmer, though still stuff going on. My mom is actually coming over to spend time with R on Wednesday and I am going to get all the finances done and accounts balanced and squared away that day, plus maybe some other stuff done. I am looking forward to it.
I'm going to sign off now as I am suddenly exhausted and have the opportunity to nap while R is sleeping.

New Website... and the JOY of being a parent
MODULAR MATES are on at least 40% off!
This is definitely the month to get your pantry organised or add to the MMs that you already have. I went to a Training Day on Saturday and it was so good. I am more pumped about this business than I have ever been and I am looking at how I am going to run it and do business so differently now. The potential is there for me to go far if I want to put a little time and effort into it and I am finding more confidence in it, which I am loving for myself. I signed myself up for a website too, so if you want to order from it, the product will come directly to you wherever you are. I also thought if there is anyone who want s to have a book party and get your family and friends to order, I can send you catalogues and flyers and you can get host credit to spend on exclusive items or regular priced items as well as half-off items with orders over $250. If your party is over $525, you can get double host credits until the 24th of the month. Think about it and let me know if you are interested. Oh, my website is http://my.tupperware.ca/relsdon - please stop by anytime! :) There is also going to be a link on this site so you can go there whenever you want to.On another subject altogether, I am feeling good for those of you who have been wondering. Tired and utterly exhausted some days and at times I feel incapable of dealing with R and the discipline and direction that a two year old needs, but other than that I am doing well. I love being pregnant again and at times I feel the baby move, though nothing on regular basis. I am looking forward to the day when that is a daily occurrence. Less than 6 months now until this baby comes and though various people comment on how hard it is to have two kids (gotta love that when you are already "committed" so to say! :) I am still looking forward to it. People always commented on how having a baby changes your life when I was pregnant with R and while that was totally true and I was depressed for a month after he was born, after I got over that we have never looked back. We LOVE being parents and though our lives have changed, the joy and the love and the laughter that he brings into our lives and the richness that we have as a result is worth the world. We often comment to each other about how he is the best thing we ever did and will laugh about things he has done in the day and just even at the sheer joy that he is. I can only imagine that this baby will add to that joy and though it may be difficult at times and there will be adjustments, we will make it through and I know that we will adjust and we will love that this baby is a part of our family. I cannot wait for R to have a sibling and see them together.
So, those of you with two kids, tell me all the good things about it.

My Week
This past week has been a bit of a busy one. Last week DH was home to work on the basement. It was so nice to have him here, though he was downstairs most of the time doing mudding and taping and sanding. Not too fun of a job and extremely messy - dust everywhere. I helped him clean up a few different days and the first day even though I had a mask on my nose and everything were still covered in the fine dust. On Sunday, we made it usable again - good thing as I NEEDED to do laundry and couldn't get into my laundry room as it had plastic stapled over the door. Anyways, now we got to start on the priming. Maybe we'll be done for Christmas!?!Speaking of which, I still have not put up my Christmas decorations and I am beginning to get a little depressed about it. I look forward to Christmas and decorating every year and then it just seems to fly right by and this year will be even worse as it'll be 3 weeks less that I get to have the wonderful Christmas lights and pretty decorations. Oh well, we will be doing it this weekend, for sure!
Saturday my book club had their annual Girls Christmas Party at my neighbour C's house. It's always fun! We had a gift exchange and I, of course, gave something that had Tupperware in it. Apparently the ladies liked my gift as it was stolen (yeah, it was a "Chinese" gift exchange where you have numbers and can steal a gift twice) and then some people wanted to order some. I ended up having 6 people order things through my Christmas party, which is not bad at all! :)
Monday I had a Tupperware party at my friend K's house. Only 3 people besides the two of us showed up, but we had fun anyway - it was very casual - I did no presentation, we just talked, I have my stuff out and they could ask questions. It was an enjoyable evening, though I was out late again.
Tuesday I had A here for an hour and a half - C and I have begun a babysitting exchange. While she goes to speech therapy with J, I have A every other Tuesday a.m. and then she takes R the other two weeks. Then I took R to A's to put down for his nap and went to an appointment with DH, then back to A's for Mom's group. A cold has been making its way around our house, so I really didn't feel well in the afternoon at A's and when R and I came home I just rested. DH has the cold pretty badly.
On Wednesday, R and I went for chiro appointments, then for groceries. It took DH an hour and a half to drive home after picking up our Subaru at the dealership that only takes half an hour normally to drive home from. There was around 15 accidents on the road that DH heard about when he was driving.
Yesterday was interesting. It started off pretty normal, cleaning house and trying to get things down around here. Just before I was going to put R down, DH phoned to see if we could pick him up from the CTrain as his cold was bothering him so much he couldn't concentrate at work. We did and R fell asleep for 2 minutes in the car. When we got home, he talked and complained for an hour before I went in there. He was feeling hot and his nose was running, so I gave him Tylenol Cold and rocked him for a long while. I finally put him down and he cried - but I was the heartless mommy who let him and went to have a shower - when I got out 10 minutes later he was fast asleep and slept for 2 good hours before I went in to wake him at 5 (I was scared he wouldn't go to bed if I didn't! :) DH slept through everything from quarter to two until five! I got an hour sleep in myself - yeah! My parents came over for supper and then stayed to babysit R while DH and I went to a Friends Church Leadership Christmas party. DH is going to be doing some speaking at church and this was a way for us to get to know some of the people who are in leadership there. We felt it was pretty important that we go or we would've stayed home due to DH's cold - though after his long nap and some Tylenol he was feeling able to function. I am glad we went and I am thankful for our church. People went out of their way to introduce themselves and strike up a conversation with us. It made us both feel good as well as confirmed our decision to make Friends Church our home church. We are very thankful to God for our church and the people we have gotten to know as a result.
Well, I gotta go, I have a Tupperware order to put in this morning and I gotta get a hold of K to do it. She decided to go to Arizona for a week, so this may be fun!

My Open House
This Saturday I had my Tupperware open house. I spent a lot of time on it, inviting my entire street (those who didn't had "No Soliciting", etc. sins on their doors) two weeks ago. I put up balloons and a sign at about 8:00 a.m. so the street would see it and hopefully remember to come. (There was balloons on the railing as well, but they flew away sometime during the morning, I guess. :)

My house was all set up with a lot of Tupperware product. I have more than I realized in my house! I also had some extra product that I wrapped up to sell, and put out the display for specials next month's hosts.

I set up a table for adding up orders with the door prizes on it.

There was all sorts of product out on the table along with a Tupperware tablecloth that I borrowed from S, my manager. She lent me a bunch of other items to display as well.

There was kids items and other miscellaneous product on my china cabinet.

I had a display for Modular Mates with pictures of my pantry before and after. All the samples that I had from the spring flyer were on the island along with the refreshments. Juice in a Tupperware pitcher, mango salsa made with the Southwest Chipotle Seasoning blend, made in the Quick Chef that is on special. And a Lime White Chocolate Macadamia Nut dessert pizza which I got to cut with my new Power Wheel Cutter (I love that pizza cutter!)
Everything looked great, if I do say so myself. And 1:00 came very quickly. R went down for a nap and DH went out to wash the car, and I sat here. For an entire hour... I sat, then decided to drink something. Then decided to start on the pizza - SO GOOD! (The recipe came from the Tupperware website.) Then played 2 games of Solitaire on my PDA... then R woke up! I was never so happy to have his company. Just after that L and her kids, then J and her girls came (yeah, thanks guys for coming and supporting me!) and just before 3:00, my neighbour came over for a few minutes. So I had a total of 3 people at my open house. Which, I must say, is 2 more than two other people I know who had open houses in the past (I found that out after I had gotten the invites out. I never would've wanted to plan one if I'd known that beforehand, though I might've done a little less preparation and planning. Oh, well.) Having a little more relaxing of a time and visit with the girls was very nice. And I have potentially 6 other people who couldn't make it to the open house, but put in orders, so that is good.
I have 3 parties yet to do and will hopefully book more from them, so I will get this business up and off the ground yet. It will be good. It always takes a bit to get a business rolling and I am going to make this work. I am thankful that I am in a business that I really like the product and am liking it more as I get more involved, so that is awesome.
Again, anytime anyone needs something, let me know! LOL :)

Dreams
OK, so I did not dream about LOST last night, although it was funny, just before I drifted off to sleep, I all of a sudden (***SPOILER ALERT*** Do not read this sentence if you don't want to know details of the last episode!) said out loud, "Oh, the man from Tallahassee is John's father! DH just said - "Ye-ah." like, "Duh, how could you be so out of it?"
So I didn't dream about LOST, instead I dreamt about Tupperware. Yeah, fun. I hate it when I don't get a break from what I do during the day at night and dream about it all night long. I am busily preparing for my open house on Saturday and finding myself a little stressed about it. Plans are coming along fine, and my mom is coming this afternoon to help me out a little and get some R time in, so everything will come together and will be under control. It is constantly on my mind though and I am trying to keep it all in perspective. Then, I get to dream about it all night.
If you think to, say a little prayer for me that I will be able to relax, know I did my best and enjoy it. Also, that people will show up! :)

Catch up
Well, it has been almost a week since I last posted. I have not been spending a lot of time near my computer, so that has made a difference. I am also finding that I am a little disillusioned with blogging myself right now, that I have nothing important to say and that no one really cares anyway. I am trying to get back in the mentality that I was doing this whole thing for me, not anyone else, but it hasn't come yet. It doesn't help that I am sick - we all have colds at our house, so it's been a bit of a down week.
I am also preparing for a Tupperware open house this Saturday that I am having. I invited the entire street and am hoping to get quite a few people out for it. My in-laws are also coming on Sunday or Monday, so we are gearing up for that. It is a busy time at our house right now.
On an exciting note, I know of 4 new babies born on the 6th, 7th, 11th and 13th of this month. Insane hey! Two girls and two boys. So, I will get some new baby cuddles in soon. Yeah!

I got it!
I received my Modular Mates yesterday! And spent the afternoon washing them, then after R went to sleep, over 3 hours arranging everything. I don't quite have everything as I want it, but very close. I am going to bed now as I was up late last night and early this morning. Good night!
Oh, here are pictures , as promised:
Before
After (almost finished product)
UPDATE:
Many people are probably thinking about the cost that I put out for this whole thing and I just have to comment that the thing that I like the most about this is that I will never have to do this and put the money out again! Tupperware has a lifetime guarantee and so I will always have this stuff. My friend A has some Modular Mates from 10 years ago that still look like my brand new ones and if anything ever does go wrong, Tupperware replaces them for free! You gotta love a guarantee like that!

Just call me the Tupperware Lady
I have decided to embark on a new adventure in my life. It took me a long time and a fabulous sale to decide that I would like to become a Tupperware consultant.DH and I have for years talked about outfitting our pantry with Modular Mates, a product that Tupperware makes that saves a lot of space in your cupboards and makes things neat. Well, Modular Mates were 40% off this month and if I joined Tupperware, I get an additional 20% off. For my organized husband it is a no brainer that if we can get what we need and at a huge discount, why not. I have made a promise to myself that I will pay back our bank account by June 30th. So, I will probably try to do a party a week and this means that I will be quitting at Old Navy. At just the right time because work is making my back ache. I like the people and the discount, but after work last night I hurt so badly.
So I have started a business, I get great product and I get out and socialize. And R and DH still get Daddy/R time! Though I will get to set my own schedule and know my work nights in advance! YEAH! Oh, and I had so much fun mapping out my pantry, they have these graphs and a chart with what products fit in which modulars and everything. Now that I have done it once it should be a lot quicker and easier to do the next time. It was so much fun, I would highly recommend having your pantry mapped for you and getting the Modular Mates for anyone who is getting married or a new house. It is going to be so great! I am going to take a picture of my pantry before I organize and then when I get it all outfitted. I will put them on here and then you will be able to see the amazing difference it will make for yourself.
(I just realized that I am talking with a lot to exclamation points. Can you tell I am just a little excited about this? :)
Oh, if anyone ever wants any Tupperware and does not have a consultant, I can order it for you and have it shipped right to your home as long as it is Canada. I am hoping to get a blogspot for it or I believe that Tupperware has a way that I can link to my homepage in the Tupperware website. I will be checking that out and will keep you all up to date. For now, just put a comment on here, or if you have my email address email me and I will get back to you.
