"We are on a journey of desire. But we are not yet home. The fact is, at this point in our journey, we have only three options: to be alive and thirsty, to be dead in our sin, to be addicted. There are no other choices. We must be serious about our happiness." -John Eldredge

What exactly are they trying to say?
This commercial bothers me! Are they trying to say that commitment to a car is more important than any other commitments?
ummm...I didn't get that at all. I got that they are saying "What is our world coming to? We're constantly just replacing old with new! What ever happened to commitment? Get a car and stick to it." Am I wrong?
it's interesting because Chris and I just saw that commercial for the first time last night and we both thought that it was pretty profound in the way that Jobina saw it...in a world where we rarely find commitment anymore...why not find a good thing and stick with it...now reading your impressions, I can also see your point. I wonder what message they were really trying to send?

I'm with you Rayna...this commercial sucks and the message isn't saying much for our world if that's what industry thinks people want to hear...
