Facebook and balance

I am finding that I have been neglecting my blog lately. I am OK at writing on R's blog because I want to keep everyone updated on him -but for myself I let things go. I am also finding that with the great weather I am spending less time on the computer and what time I do is on Facebook. I am really liking Facebook and having the opportunity to catch up with people I haven't connected with in years.

It is funny, because DH still maintains that he will not "bow" to all the pressure to join in on the blog/Facebook phenomenon, but he did join Facebook "just to look around". He got a friend request from someone the next day and was so freaked out about it he refuses to accept it. I told him that he is trying to fight a losing battle. He could catch up with so many people if he'd just give in.

I need to figure out how to balance everything in my life - my family, exercise, time out of doors, time on the computer, my spiritual life etc. Ooh, balance... the somewhat elusive friend.

I agree with Mike! Facebook is like crack cocaine and is the tool of stalkers and procrastinators. I too shall not bow down to the Facebook idol. Down with Facebook!
