Ribbon Falls

Here - finally! - are the promised pictures from DH's and my hike to Ribbon Falls on the 21st of July. A little slow on getting it together, but I am finally doing it. :) I am hoping to still do a post soon about our fence and yard from May and June, soI should be happy that these ones have already had it up - LOL.
First of all, some flower pics from along the way - I am not a botanist, so have no idea what they are called, they just looked pretty. :)

The river was running beside us the entire hike, though not always visible.

Views of the mountains
My favorite addition to any view! :)

There were several waterfalls along the way, though you couldn't always see them, they were audible. One place we stopped for a short break - This part of creation is so beautiful!
Ribbon Falls - it was BIG, you can see DH standing at the bottom. We were at least 200 metres away and there was a lovely spray over us. Cooled us off well on a hot day.
DH trying to get interesting shots of me - not sure how well it worked.
DH relaxing before we headed back.
More views

Resting at the same place on the return trip.

Wow, that's a beautiful place. How many km's was the hike?
