This dragonfly sat directly in the middle of one of the fence boards - so I would guess it was 3 3/4 inches wide. It was HUGE! A little scary.. how big insects are getting.(Oh, and say the title with a Scottish accent and it'll remind you of a movie! Can anyone say what one?)

That is a great picture!! Any insect that eats mosquitoes can get as big as they want, in my opinion ;)
