Happy Father's Day, M!

Today is my husband's second Father's Day.... and I just wanted to take this space to say Happy Father's Day to him.
M, you are so amazing to me. The last year has been a rough one, for sure, but I wanted to say that I am so proud of you and proud to be your wife. Every day I see the work and effort you go to to be the best husband, father and provider for R and I that you can be. I see you with your son and thank God for the man that He gave me, thank Him that you desire to be the a daddy who is involved in his son's life, who is actively spending time with R, showing him what it is to be a man. I love to see you play and interact, hearing his laughter and yours mingle together. I love the deep need that is within you to make sure that R has a knowledge of God and that he is surrounded by people who will help us raise him to be a godly man, a leader amongst his peers, a caring, kind person who will bring joy to those around him. I love that you struggle (and I call it struggle because I know these are not qualities that come easily to anyone, but are work to attain) to model that for your son.
R is blessed to have you as his Daddy. He talks of Daddy all day when you are at work and I know that he loves you desperately. And I am blessed to have you as my husband. I love you always and forever, M!
