Copycat... Again

OK, thanks to Jobina, I have a new button on my sidebar. She had it on hers and I checked it out and I am looking forward to trying out some of the recipes. I am also thinking about what I can submit of my own. Problem is that a lot of my recipes I have fudged and "made my own" over the past 10 years and I tend to just throw things in the pan that I think would taste good. Either that or I have gotten them from other people. Like Jobina's amazing sweet potatoes! I am sure that I will find something though... eventually!

Hi Rayna! I just took some time to go through some of your blog. I loved reading your list of blessings!! It is SO healthy to write those out every now & again, huh? God is good!

I'm glad you are enjoying the recipe swap blog - and thanks for the recipes you sent! You sound like a very experienced cook the way you "just throw things in the pan". I think it would be a disaster if I did that...I NEED to follow a recipe. Maybe years down the road I'll be able to step up to your level :)

Oh, I should mention...I have a private blog, but let me know if you are interested in stopping by and I'll sign you up. It's not fair if I can read yours but you can't read mine ;)

Hello Amber - Welcome to the blog - I will send you an email because I would like to see yours.
As for being an experienced cook, I would say that I am more of a tried and true cook. I find the recipes that I like, then change them to my taste and hope for the best. I also know things that I like together - spices, fruit with chicken, etc. - which I will put together to add something to plain meat. It works most of the time! :)
