"We are on a journey of desire. But we are not yet home. The fact is, at this point in our journey, we have only three options: to be alive and thirsty, to be dead in our sin, to be addicted. There are no other choices. We must be serious about our happiness." -John Eldredge

How does he know?
Tonight after supper, M was standing in the kitchen and leaning against the cupboards and R came up to him and was leaning against his legs, kind of hugging him. M looked down at him and said, "R, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
To which R replied, "Daddy, I'm going to be a Daddy, just like you!"
Both M and I went, "Aaahh, how cute! Isn't he just so sweet?"
How do they know what will melt your heart? And what will make you feel good about the parent that you are?
Such a sweetie, that one.
