So thank you to Sheri for drawing my name and go check out her site and what she does. I'll keep you updated on te process and what I get to do and what Sheri does and when I get it I'll share some photos of it.

Cloth Diaper Contest

While I was at Along for the Ride I discovered that there is also a contest going on to win some Bum Genius 3.0 All in One diapers. I am planning to get AIO diapers for the girls once they get a little bit bigger. This cannot happen soon enough as we are going through a package of Newborn diapers every 3 days with them. And NB diapers cost $15.97 for 40 diapers. It is expensive!
Anyway, the contest for the Bum Genius diapers is at Nature's Child Blog and you can go here to enter it. I would so love to win this as these diapers were one of my top ones to buy and I would be saving a lot if I won them!

Along for the Ride Babywearing Contest

So when we first found out we were pregnant I was excited about the fact that I would get to wear this baby. Then we found out that we were having twins and I thought that that dream was going to go out the window. I have realised since the girls are home that I do not have enough hands and am going to need to get/borrow some carriers.
Along for the Ride is having a contest and you could win 5 different carriers. Go there and enter before July 31st and you could win. Even if you do not have a baby and have no need for them enter and you can give them to me. And if you do win and have a babe, share the wealth peoples, I have two babies to carry! :)
Win the Essential Babywearing Stash from Along for the Ride (one Beco Butterfly, one Hotsling baby pouch, one BabyHawk Mei Tai, one Zolowear Ring Sling, and one Gypsy Mama Wrap)

Things are Looking Up

Thanks to everyone who prayed and is praying. R had a 4 hour nap yesterday afternoon and though we had some conflict between that and bedtime (2 timeouts resulted) he is very much himself today and being a good boy and obedient and I have had the patience to deal with him when he is not doing what I ask or is just being a little boy.
I woke up feeling somewhat better, not so exhausted as yesterday, though my nose has started to run and the cough and sore throat are still pretty bad. It was the tiredness and lack of energy that was killing me though, so I would rather have this.
So thanks... just wanted to update you all and let you know where things are at here.
Drea is also having another babywearing giveaway on her review site, DE Reviews - this time for a ring sling from www.Slingcarrier.com. GO there and check out their ring sling carriers which are pretty affordable. And go to DE Reviews and check out their giveaway.
Oh, for those of you who like giveaways, the Bloggy Giveaways site that I have a link to in my links is having a Bloggy Giveaway Carnival with over 500 different giveaways, on until Friday, go check it out!

Mineral Makeup giveaway

Drea over at DE Reviews is doing a giveaway for Pure Anada mineral makeup. I have never worn makeup - I tend to be allergic to most and have such sensitive skin that I cannot wear any makeup for longer than an afternoon and I usually end up getting a headache in the process.
I have been hearing about mineral makeup from a lot of sources - on the news, different blogs and people mentioning it. I have been wondering if it would work for someone like me. According to Drea, who also has sensitive skin, mineral makeup is amazing. The great thing about the Pure Anada makeup is that it is all natural as well. Not all mineral makeups can boast this! The really cool thing about this product is that it is CANADIAN! You read that right - it's Canadian! It used to be called Pure Beauty Mineral Makeup but they just changed the name recently during the trademark process.
Pure Anada would like to offer one of DE Reviews readers an....
ENTIRE MAKE UP KIT!!!
This includes
2 - Sample foundations (You get two so you can find out your color better. The one that doesn't fit your color you can use as a concealer or give to a friend)
3 - Mineral Shadows!
1- Blush
1- Bronzer
1 - Shadow Brush
1 - Eyeliner Brush
1 - Foundation Brush
1 - Lip Stick
1 - Lip Gloss
ALL FOR FREE!!!!!!!
Whoever wins can pick out whatever colors they want. So you get the perfect look for you.
So go to DE Reviews and enter yourself. Sure how I win this one. :)

Tag blanket giveaway

OK - there is another contest I want to enter. When R was a little guy, he chewed on everything and especially the tags of all of his toys and blankets. It wasn't until after he had stopped with this obsession that I heard of products that are made with many tags sewn onto them for the child to chew on. I always tell DH that I would love to have something like that for whenever we have a second.
Amanda is giving away a tag security blanket - you can check her post out here! She is a Work at Home Mom and has a really great site called Simply Sweet Bowtique where she sells all sorts of sewn creations. It just adorable, go check it out! The tag security blanket measures approximately 17" X 13" and is either chenille or minky on one side and coordinating flannel on the other. The draw will close on November 10th, so if you want to enter - go now!

Get-Stuff -Done Kind of Day

Today I got so much done! I had gotten my Gymboree gift certificate in the mail and my mom also gave me a gift card to GAP that she had for R, and seen as DH was working on school stuff, I decided to take R to the mall. We got there are 10:40 and lined up to get in the Play Place at 11:30 - gave me 45 minutes to get what I needed and get back there. I went to GAP quick and got three long sleeved T-shirts, then on to Gymboree where they have a TV (!) for my son to watch as I browsed. Good sales today! I got a sweater and 2 more long sleeved T-shirts from there. Here are the tops from Gymboree that we got.
We then went to the play place and R had a blast for a half hour - it's the first time we have gone in there as this summer when I wanted to he was always without socks and that isn't allowed. We then headed over to Toys 'R Us where the potty seat I had been eying was on for half off! Awesome deals today! And I was out of the mall by shortly after 12:15 - so a grand total of 1 and a half hours at the mall and all this to show for it. Guess how much I had to spend out of my own pocket? Drum roll please.... just over 33 dollars! I know! I was so impressed with the sales and of course the gift certificate from Mom of a Munchkin and my mom. Thanks ladies!
After lunch and putting R down, DH and I spent some time together and I had a nap, a shower, and browned 2 lbs of ground beef, made a double batch of Mama Sue's Spaghetti Sauce and made 15 hamburgers. I made spaghetti for supper and cleaned the kitchen, bathed and got my little guy ready for bed. Then I got ready for my book club and am now blogging about my busy, got-stuff-done kind of day and I am now late for book club. Just wanted to share it with you, but now I gotta go!

Ode to Umbrella Moments Gymboree contest

Mom of a Munchkin over at Ode to Umbrella Moments is having a contest to celebrate her Little Lady's first birthday. It is to win a gift certificate for $40 from Gymboree. In order to enter, she requests that people write a quote about innocence or courage for Little Lady's birthday book. As I am such a great writer (ha ha ha, can you hear the scarcasm? :), here is the quote I found online at www.thinkexist.com submitted by someone with the screen name of lynnie_buttercup. It's really good! :)
"This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, Love to complete your life."
Happy Birthday, Little Lady!

Tag blanket giveaway

Drea over at Fina'Drea has been reviewing items and has great contests going on a regular basis. Presently she is having one for a Snug Tug blanket from Poppy Dot Designs Etsy store. I was telling DH a few months ago that when we had our next child I was definitely going to get something that had a lot of tags on it for the baby to play with as I remember so clearly that stage with R where he chewed on any and every tag possible. Well, Poppy Dot Designs blankets are also made of minky material on both sides - and you know how much I love soft material, so this is an incredible bonus! My favorite is the one with Big Polka Dots that I have pictured here. Even though we don't know when we will be having the next baby, if I win this contest I will already have a little something special for him or her.
Head on over to Drea's blog and enter for yourself.

I couldn't resist clicking some more!

I just couldn't! Not when Liza's linky said "Chocolate and Coffee"! And then I discovered that it is chocolate covered macadamia nuts and Kona coffee. Aaahh! So good to sit down with a book and a cup of coffee and chocolate and relax after a hard day. I am so looking forward to winning this one. Check it out at Liza's Eyeview if you want to enter. Liza lives in Maui, by the way. Lucky lady!

Dog Days of Summer Bloggy Giveaway

**These contests are a part of the "Dog Days of Summer Bloggy Giveaways" at www.rocksinmydryer.com***
OK - so I did what I just said I was trying to avoid and randomly clicked on a link on someone's blogroll and came across a contest that I SO want to win! It is for The Bumblyburg Super-Hero Value Pack from a momblog called "...And Miles to go Before We Sleep...". I love Larry-Boy and cannot wait until R is old enough to watch them with. And we have none, so this would work out wonderful if we win! Check out this blog and enter if you want to, though I'd really like to win it, so if you don't enter I have a greater chance! Just jokes! :)

Vincent Kids Shoes contest

After reading Jobina's post about the $50 gift certificate to a kid's shoes site, Vincent, that Steph over at Adventures in Babywearing is giving away, I had to check it out. I'm a sucker for contests! The shoes are adorable and I love that they are stylish as well as functional. Vincent is having some great sales on right now and free shipping for orders over $75, so check it out. Oh, and for those of you who live in Ontario, there are two stores, one in Toronto and one in London that carry this line.
