Hand Sanitizers and children

We all know those emails that get forwarded - warnings about dire things that are happening with some form of "do let this happen to you or yours." I usually delete them or if I am concerned I go to check out their validity at www.Snopes.com. Love this site!!!
Yesterday, I got a forward about hand sanitizers and children - and it is totally true. As it is becoming easier and more commonplace to use them, it scared me a little. So I am passing the warning on to all of you. Check it out here.
Just so you know, there is nothing wrong with hand sanitizers or using them, just with small children ingesting them, or licking it off their hands. The alcohol content in them is very high and with small ones around, they should be treated the same as household cleaners. I know that I will be more aware of where our bottles are from now on!
