"We are on a journey of desire. But we are not yet home. The fact is, at this point in our journey, we have only three options: to be alive and thirsty, to be dead in our sin, to be addicted. There are no other choices. We must be serious about our happiness." -John Eldredge

The mystery solved (maybe)
We found out this morning that there was in fact two placentas. So the girls are most likely fraternal, though if the egg split before implantation, they would have their own placentas. The doctor said that if they are looking very similar in a few years, we can get tests done to see if they are identical. I am kind of glad - though it would've been fun and different to have identical twins, it's nice for them to have their own look, identity and uniqueness. I love that I can tell them apart without having to try too!
