All together for the very first time (with the girls on the outside)
My DH and I roomed in with A and K at the hospital on Tuesday night and we got to bring them home yesterday afternoon. The last day has gone well, though sleep, of course, is at a minimum during the night. I am still working to get them both to nurse all the time. They seem to not like it at night, and then I get to pump too! I will be so happy when we are entirely switched over to nursing. They are doing really well, the public health nurse came today and they had gained weight since we left the hospital yesterday, yeah! A is now 4 lb 13.5 oz. and K is 5 lb 1 oz. So they have both gained not only what they lost after birth, but over 3 oz more than their birth weights. I am happy as I was a stressing about getting enough food into them. I feel as though I can relax now.

hey there, we are so excited for you that you have the babies home!!! Avery and Kharis are adorable...we will continue to pray for you guys as you adjust to having them at home and get into a routine.
