R and I are taking a baby massage class with our Mom's group. One of the ladies friend is taking a course and this is her practicum, to teach at least 5 moms/dads to massage their babies, so we get to learn without the cost.
R loves it! Of the three babies that are participating, he was the only one actually being massaged today - one was eating and his buddy J is too active and wanting to explore to stay put to get massaged. My son, though he does try to get away now and again, will get the entire massage that we have so far. I love it too, as he is so soft and smooth and it is very sooting and relaxing for us both.
I think it helps him that he gets to be naked for it. He loves being naked and hates that we are always putting his clothes on after a change of diaper or the bath. I am not looking forward to the day when he learns to take off his clothes, because he will be running around the house, buck naked, a lot!

Luke loves to run around the house naked when we are getting him ready for a bath. It is so funny! He is proud as a peacock struting his stuff.
It is amazing that you can get Rhys to sit still for that long. There is no way either of my kids would do that.
ah, but when they are naked they are easier to potty train! Or so it would seem at our house!
I would love a massage...do the techniques transfer to adults. Maybe with clothes on:)?
I keep on saying that I need someone to give me a massage too!
