Deal or No Deal

I have officially applied to be a contestant on the gameshow "Deal or No Deal." They are coming to Canada to film in January and are looking for contestants. For those of you who have never watched this show it is hosted by Howie Mandel and there are 26 (?) cases of which the contestant picks one. In these cases are dollar amounts ranging from 1 cent to 1 million dollars. The contestant then proceeds to eliminate cases starting with 6 first, then 5, then 3 I believe and then 2, and 1 at a time, between the rounds the banker tries to buy back their case from them by calculating the odds of what is left still on the board. And based on what he offers and what is left out there and how many you have left to open, you take the deal or not. You also have supporters who help you to make these decisions who start to talk it out with you about 3 rounds in.

The application process is quite extensive - took me about 2.5 hours altogether, because I didn't realize that you had to include pictures of you and your supporters.

So, we took some pictures of the supporters - my mom and dad, sister and brother-in-law and DH of course. Then I realized that they had to be pictures of them from the waist up. So, nevertheless, they got the group photo, instead of the great couple photos that we had taken. (I'll include them in a blog.)
So, anyway, now that I have told you all about Deal or No Deal, you can always apply yourself. However, if you do, you owe me half of your winnings for "finder's fee!"
